Juniper Bomb
Juniper Bomb Gin is the newest addition to the Greater Than Gin’s portfolio, which has three times more juniper. During a power cut, a batch was distilled much longer than planned. The juniper berries stayed too long in the distilling pot which made the flavour much stronger. Instead of discarding the batch, founders have decided to embrace the mistake and turn it into something special.
The design language for this gin is inspired by this idea of embracing imperfection. The typography is broken and skewed. Colours overlap with RGB-style glitches. Nothing looks perfectly neat, and that’s intentional. The visual design reflects the idea that mistakes can lead to something worth celebrating.
The name Juniper Bomb hints at the bold, three-times-stronger flavour and sets the tone for the brand.
