HELLO, I'M PALAK!
I’m a Visual Designer and Type enthusiast. I love all things playful. Whether I’m working in-house or flying solo, my process lies between intuition and intention, mixing strategy with gut feeling to arrive at what feels right.
Having studied in a vernacular language, I’m drawn to non-Latin narratives and the nuanced cultural flavours, but not losing the contemporary touch. I believe in a multidisciplinary approach, bringing different mediums together while holding on to visual sensibilities that truly reflect who I am.
With close to 5 years of full-time, in-house experience & freelance experience, I’ve collaborated across live-action ad film sets, design studios, the alcobev industry, museums, and multimedia production houses. My practice lies at the intersection of typography-driven design, brand strategy, new media, culture, and narrative.
When the screen goes dark, you’ll find me in my third space. Going on long walks or for a swim, and keeping up with my reading habit. For me, creativity isn’t something I switch on for work, it’s simply the way I navigate through the world.
